The Victim Assistance Center relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations, churches and community organizations to continue our work. Please consider making a donation that will provide support to victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes.
You can designate your donation to benefit a certain program we offer or allow us to use in the area
of greatest need.

Ways to Give
Contributions are tax-deductible according to IRS regulations.
- Cash Gifts
Cash gifts provide immediate help for programs, services, and equipment. Gifts can be made with cash or personal check. You can send your check, made payable to Victim Assistance Center to VAC; PO Box 30, York, PA 17405.
- In-Kind Gifts
Contributionsof products or services that are beneficial to the organization, such as printing services , food for an event, door prize items, etc., are always appreciated.
- Memorial/Honor Gifts
Memorial and honor gifts are a way to honor the memory of a special person or to acknowledge someone or an occasion, like a birthday or anniversary.
- Gifts of Securities or Other Assets
Appreciated securities, real estate, art works, jewelry, or other assets can be sold or invested for the long-term benefit of the organization.
- Planned Gifts
Special tax incentives are available for donors who make a planned gift. This can be done simply through a bequest or another type of vehicle, like a gift annuity, charitable trust, life insurance, or pooled income fund. These gifts may offer a number of advantages, which include: income for life or a term of years to a donor and /or other beneficiary, such as a spouse or other family memeber; reduction of the donor's tax obligations as a result of a charitable income tax deduction; help to "unlock" income from highly appreciated, but low-yielding property, without incurring any capital gains tax; and save estate and gift taxes.
